Autumn is a great season to photograph.
The light is a beautiful glowy warm red, it has lost the harsh brightness of summer as the sun sinks lower. Red leaves on trees and glistening berries make you aware Christmas is around the corner.
Shadows have become longer and misty dampness fills the air
I took these photos in the garden of Owen Morgan of Mosaic Gardens. His use of rusty metal as a garden wall/fence is inspired. Sadly Mr H was not convinced and Well Street does not have any rusty garden walls as yet!
Rusty panel and autumn glow combine for curry themed images.
The photos have been published on The Guardian Witness website. Thanks to Guardian Witness for publishing me again and thank you for your time – hopefully see you in the pub for a pint …
